Do you love brownies? I sure do! You might not believe it, but despite my petite size, I can devour quite a few brownies in one sitting. Every time a craving hits, I’m eager to whip up a batch. Fun fact: I even have a poster of a gooey brownie drizzled with chocolate sauce displayed in a 16×20 poster frame on my kitchen wall for inspiration.
One day, while scrolling through Facebook, I stumbled upon something that felt like a dream come true—brownies in just 2 minutes! It’s a practical, delicious recipe that’s perfect for satisfying those sudden chocolate cravings.
Before you start: You’ll need a microwave oven for this recipe. If you don’t have one, you’ll need to stick to the traditional baking method.
Ingredients (for 1 portion)
– 2 tablespoons sugar
– 2 tablespoons flour
– 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
– 1 pinch of salt
– 2 tablespoons liquid oil
– 2-3 tablespoons water

Delicious chocolate brownie with cooking ingredients
In a small microwave-safe bowl, mix the cocoa powder, flour, sugar, and salt. Add the liquid oil and water, and stir until well combined. Microwave on the highest setting for 2 minutes. The brownie should be slightly springy on the outside but gooey in the center.
Tip: If you like your brownie extra gooey (like I do), reduce the baking time by 15-20 seconds. There’s nothing better than chocolate oozing out of the middle! Once, a friend took a picture of me enjoying one of my brownies and framed it in an 18×24 poster frame for a photography competition. Guess what? She won first prize! Hilarious, right?
Serving Suggestions: If you’re making more than one portion, simply multiply the ingredients by the number of servings and bake each portion in a separate bowl. Serve your brownie hot, and for an extra treat, add a drizzle of chocolate sauce and a sprinkle of chopped nuts.
If you’re a busy mom and your kids are constantly begging for chocolate cake, you’ll love this quick recipe—it’s sure to be a hit with them too!
No need to frame your brownie photos like my friend did and have some poster picture frames, but if you try the recipe and love it, share a picture of your creation on my Facebook page. I’d love to see it!
Bon appétit!
